Connecting West Haven Students and Businesses Through Art

Near West is proud to connect students in the West Haven community with local storefronts to display their artwork. Featured at Tonya's Hush Boutique is artwork from Dett Elementary students. Special thanks to Ms. Allison Beaulieu, art teacher at Dett Elementary. Through Allison's efforts, Dett elementary students can now see their art on display for a second semester in a row.

This art connection is a continuation from Near West's efforts last spring, where artwork from Crane High School and Victor Herbert were put on display as well. Two of these art displays were in available storefronts, which have since signed leases this fall: Jean Works and A&G Mortgage at 2400 Madison.
